The CNN article delved into the children’s perspectives of children across different regions of the U.S.

Over 80 elementary school students from Arizona, New Jersey, and Texas were interviewed to share their thoughts on Harris and former President Donald Trump.

However, the responses about Trump varied, with one kid declaring, “Go America!” while others appeared to be negative.

The children’s views, unsurprisingly, reflected the political leanings of their parent

For instance, in blue states, most kids were more supportive of Harris.

In the Red states, many children expressed positive views of Trump.

The study, conducted in part by Arizona State University’s Ashley Landrum and Stanford University’s Shanto Iyengar, attempted to understand how children are influenced by their environment when developing political opinions.

Some kids had mixed views of Trump but were overall positive, with one saying, “So I think, even though Trump has done bad stuff, he still deserves to run for president.”

Predictably, children from Democrat-leaning families had more s extreme negative opinions about Trump, with some comparing him to Adolf Hitler.

However, Republican-leaning children appeared more thoughtful, offering justifications for Trump’s actions and focusing instead on his accomplishments and policies.

Meanwhile, Harris received mixed responses with words like “inspiring” from blue-state kids.
