The Perfect Couple” is Netflix’s latest hit, but there are plenty other mysteries and thrillers to keep fans occupied while they await the second season.

Based on Elin Hilderbrand‘s 2018 book of the same name, the miniseries tells the story of a wealthy family who become prime suspects in a murder investigation when a body is found hours after they host a wedding ceremony.

Its all-star cast includes Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, and Dakota Fanning. But this is not Kidman’s first rodeo when it comes to murder mystery adaptations.

In 2017, Kidman won an Emmy for starring in the first season of “Big Little Lies,” which is based on a novel by Liane Moriarty and has similar themes to “The Perfect Couple.” Since then, she has appeared in multiple other adaptations, such as “The Undoing” and “Nine Perfect Strangers.”
