Michael Cohen says he’s getting a foreign passport under new name in case Trump wins election: ‘I’m outta here’

Donald Trump’s disgraced ex-lawyer Michael Cohen has promised to get “outta here” if his former boss wins the election — claiming he’s already close to getting a foreign passport under a new name.

Cohen, who was the star witness in the Manhattan hush money trial that landed Trump a felony conviction for falsifying business records, told MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” on Tuesday he would have “no choice” but to leave the US amid fears his old boss would seek retribution for his ongoing betrayal.

“I’m outta here. I mean, I’m already working on a foreign passport with a completely different name,” Cohen said when asked what he thinks will happen to him if Trump retakes the White House.

“I don’t know how it’s going to work, as far as dealing with my wife and my children,” he continued. “I certainly don’t want them moving to where I’m looking to go.”

The convicted liar, who was Trump’s “fixer” and personal attorney for about a decade, didn’t elaborate on where he plans to flee to.

His vow to abandon the US came amid a wider discussion about reports the Republican nominee plans to go after his “enemies” — including Cohen — if he wins the election.

The now-disbarred attorney infamously turned on his former boss when he admitted he repeatedly lied under oath to “protect” Trump in the past — including over the $130,000 hush money payment he made to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

Cohen ended up being sentenced to three years in prison in 2018 after pleading guilty to federal campaign finance charges and a slew of other crimes.

He later testified during Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan, where the former president was ultimately found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records — the first sitting or former president to be convicted in a criminal case.

Cohen also testified against Trump in a Manhattan civil fraud trial last year that ended with the GOP presidential nominee being hit with a $454 million judgment for exaggerating his assets for a decade to get better loan and insurance terms.

Still, Cohen told MSNBC host Nicole Wallace during their Tuesday interview that she should also be concerned about being on Trump’s apparent vengeance list.

“Yourself, the president of MSNBC, General [Mark] Milley, you know, [ex-Wyoming GOP Rep.] Liz Cheney. How many people has he turned around and said that ‘this is, that these are people that I intend to go after if I have the ability to?’” Cohen asked Wallace.

He went on to wail about the Supreme Court’s recent decision granting Trump presidential immunity.

“Now he thinks it is: ‘Not only can I do whatever I want. But I can’t even be prosecuted.’ It’s a get-out-of-jail-free card solely for the president,” Cohen claimed.
