Fans won’t be getting the best of both worlds anytime soon.
Emily Osment, who played Miley Cyrus’ best friend Lilly Truscott on “Hannah Montana” from 2006 to 2011, shared that a reunion of the hit Disney series isn’t in the near future.
“I’m kind of busy right now,” Osment exclusively told The Post on the “You’re Laughing at CBS” blue carpet in LA on Sept. 18. “A little busy. Let me get through my wedding and this show, and then we’ll talk.”
And who can blame the 32-year-old? Not only is she recently engaged, but she also landed her own sitcom on CBS, “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.”
The “Stolen Baby” star, who got engaged to her fiancé, Jack Anthony, in June 2023, took a moment on the carpet to share the best relationship advice she’s received.
“Man, so many good ones,” Osment reflected. “I think just take your time, and through everything, just make sure you have love for one another.”
Along with watering her relationship, the “Hannah Montana” alum has been busy filming the first season of the CBS comedy, which premieres next month.
Osment plays Mandy, who was first introduced in Season 5 of “Young Sheldon” as a former weather forecaster who meets Sheldon’s older brother Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan).
In the spinoff, viewers will see the couple navigate their new baby and marriage. Of course, the audience is in for an eventful ride, as joining the duo are Mandy’s parents, Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) and Jim (Will Sasso).
And Jordan didn’t hold back when it came to what he was most excited for audiences to see.
As he put it, “You get to see everything.”
“You get to see Georgie and Mandy live out their relationship and all the ups and downs, and, you know, ‘Young Sheldon’ was so relatable,” Jordan continued. “And we’re hoping to bring that with this too. We hope it’s relatable for a lot of people.”
Life indeed imitates art here, as the 21-year-old can feel the connection to his character after welcoming his first child, daughter Emma, with girlfriend Jenna in May.
“Right now, I got a 4-month-old child, so I’m going through what George is going through,” Jordan explained. “And there’s millions of other doing it, I’m sure. So it’s a thing that’s going on and I think people are going to find it funny and see the ups and downs of everything, so it’s great.”
Much like Georgie, fatherhood is the star’s biggest blessing.
“It’s been amazing,” Jordan gushed. “There’s nothing like it. I mean, I’ve always loved kids. And if my girlfriend will push out 10, then I’ll take 10 of them.”
But that’s not his only wish for the moment. When it comes to the new comedy series, Jordan hopes to get a special visit from the queen of the South herself.
“My dream guest star [is] Dolly Parton,” he said. “I’m trying to push it. I say it in every interview. I’m trying to push.”
Bay Jones, meanwhile, would love Keanu Reeves to drop by.
Sasso also had his own guest star in mind — and for good reason.
“Dick Van Dike as Mandy’s great grandfather,” he exclaimed.
And although Sasso, 49, is juggling fatherhood and marriage on the show, in real life he knows the secret to staying in his wife Molly’s good graces.
“The piece of marriage advice that I could offer, just coming from my point of view as a dude married to a wonderful, incredible person who blows my mind and shows me what partnership is every day, I would say, listen,” he told The Post.
“Listen a lot and slowly. Slow it down and listen. Listen to every word. And also not just the words, the intent behind the words. You are Neo in the ‘Matrix’ doing that backbend and the bullets are words and intention. OK?” he went on. “Some of them are words, some of them intention, some feeling, and just let them sneak by your nose and sniff them and go, ‘I understand what that is and what that is’ and slow it down.”
As for what comes next?
“Then enter the conversation with all of that inside of you,” concluded the actor. “Even though the bullets didn’t hit you, I don’t mean that physically, I mean take it in, slow it down, take it in. Slow it down. That’s it. That’s the name of my new Chicken Soup for the Soul Book.”
“Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” premieres on CBS on Oct. 17.
