Snow Patrol announces 2025 tour, New York show. Get tickets today

On Sept. 13, Snow Patrol released “The Forest Is the Path,” their eight studio album.

Less than two weeks later, the Grammy-nominated group has announced a 14-concert North American tour to go along with their new record.

Toward the end of the run, the “Chasing Cars” trio are slated to headline at Brooklyn’s Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, April 8.

“We’re so excited to get back to tour in North America again,” the band shared on Instagram. For the first ten years of our career we didn’t get to tour in the US or Canada and even though, at this stage in our careers, we have been touring there for twenty years we still feel like we’re making up for lost time.”

Snow Patrol’s last tour in the U.S. was a quick acoustic jaunt in March 2022; prior to that, they were last stateside in 2019 for their ‘Wildness Tour.’

Hoping to catch them live?

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming North American shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, Sept. 27.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Snow Patrol new music

As noted above, Snow Patrol dropped their eighth studio album “The Forest Is the Path” on Friday, Sept. 13.

Over 12 tracks, the sensitive rockers effortlessly oscillate between intimate and anthemic, often within the same song.

Just a few of our favorite cuts here include the fist-pumping “Everything’s Here and Nothing’s Lost,” the Coldplay-esque “This Is The Sound Of Your Voice” and straightforward rocker “Hold Me In The Fire.”

Make sure to give “Never Really Tire” a try, too. The energetic six-minute epic may be the best song here.

All that being said, most of the tracks on this album start off sounding like something you’d listen to while on hold with customer service before mutating into something beautiful. It’s hard to tell if this is an intentional choice or not, but, if so, Snow Patrol repeatedly demonstrates an ability to transform their music from something general to personal within the span of seconds. Kudos.
