JUST IN: Trump Teases ‘Special Guest’ For AZ Rally As Kennedy Endorsement Rumors Swirl

The Trump-Vance presidential campaign announced that a “special guest” will be joining the former president for a rally in Arizona on Friday. The announcement comes as independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is reportedly set to suspend his campaign and endorse Trump.

“President Trump will be joined by a special guest as he delivers remarks about his America First policies and his vision to lower inflation and the cost of living, secure the border, and make our cities safe again,” the Trump campaign said in a press release.

Trump is scheduled to give remarks at the Turning Point USA conference in Glendale, Arizona on Friday. Kennedy will also be in Arizona, as he is scheduled to speak at a rally in Phoenix.

The Trump Campaign has also released digital ads for the rally, which include a photo of the former president standing next to a mystery person who has been blacked out.

The announcement comes as the former president continues his tour of the southern border. When asked whether he Kennedy would be joining him on Friday, Trump stated that “no plans have been made at this moment,” adding that it would be “a great honor” to receive Kennedy’s endorsement.

Speculation has been swirling as to the status of the Kennedy campaign after the independent candidate’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, revealed that they are considering the possibility of joining forces with former President Trump during a podcast appearance earlier this week.

“There’s two options that we’re looking at,” Shanahan said. One option would involve staying in the race in order to lay the groundwork for another bid in 2028, “or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump,” Shanahan explained. This, she elaborated, would be geared towards defeating Kamala Harris, who represents a greater threat to the country, the campaign believes.

On Wednesday, ABC News reported that Kennedy is indeed expected to suspend his campaign and endorse former President Trump on Friday. Kennedy refused to elaborate when asked for comment, saying “We are not talking about any of that.”
