Robert De Niro Flips Out over Trump in Latest Meltdown: ‘He’s a Jerk, an Idiot!’

‘Goodfellas’ actor Robert De Niro has again put himself in the spotlight after his latest rant against former President Donald Trump, claiming he is not running with “the right intentions.”

During an interview with former Fox News host Chris Wallace on an episode of Max’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” the actor went berzerk, calling Trump a “jerk” and an “idiot.”

“I never wanted anything to do with him,” De Niro said.

“He’s a jerk. He’s an idiot.”

“Who wants to meet a clown like that?” the actor asked.

When De Niro was asked whether he had a personal issue with Trump, he said, “You’ve got to help everybody. People are going to get overlooked—that happens.”

“But at least you have somebody who’s sensitive to the condition of the country, the people.”

“And I’m not saying this like this because it’s Kamala Harris — but it is,” the 81-year-old actor continued.

The Hollywood actor went on to express support for Kamala Harris, adding, “We need someone like her to do it.”

The actor then pointed out that, if elected, Harris would likely make mistakes but argued she has the “right intentions.”

“She’ll make mistakes,” De Niro said.

“Of course, everybody does. But we need somebody with the right intentions.”

“This guy has does not have the right intentions, and everybody knows that. It’s insanity. Period,” he added, The Hill reported.

De Niro is one of Trump’s most high-profile critics and frequently attacks the former president at any given moment.

Earlier this year, De Niro appeared in an advertisement for Joe Biden, in which he described Trump as an “unhinged, power-hungry candidate.”

Wallace asked De Niro if is worried about Trump “not” giving up his power if he returns to the White House.

“He’s never going to give it up,” the actor responded.

“And Anybody who deludes themselves in thinking that he is, shame on you,” he added.

De Niro’s remarks came after participating in a “Paisans for Kamala” virtual dinner held by former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio (D).

During the event, De Niro revealed that he visited the home of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“We just did a little pilgrimage … [to] Little Italy in Baltimore — to the home of Nancy D’Alessandro-Pelosi; where she grew up,” De Niro said.

In May, the actor praised a Manhattan court’s decision to find Trump guilty on 34 felony counts for allegedly falsifying business records.

“I’m always very weary. I don’t wanna get too excited about anything,” De Niro told Page Six.

“It’s as it should be. Justice has been served. That’s it.”

In 2016, De Niro said he would “like to punch” Trump “in the face.”
