“Yellowstone” actor Neal McDonough claimed Hollywood completely shut him out when he refused to kiss another woman on the set of the hit series.
He said this left him professionally and personally impacted in a preview clip of “Nothing Left Unsaid” podcast shared Wednesday by TMZ. McDonough told hosts Tim Green and Troy Green that his career halted because Hollywood wouldn’t accept a personal boundary he set for himself — he refused to kiss a woman on screen. My wife didn’t have any problem with it, it was me who really had a problem with it,” the actor said. “When I wouldn’t do it and they couldn’t understand it, Hollywood just completely turned on me, and they wouldn’t let me be part of the show anymore.”

“For two years I couldn’t get a job and I lost everything you could possibly imagine,” McDonough continued.
He explained his losses were not just restricted to finances.
“Not just houses and material things, but your swagger, your cool, who you are, your identity, everything. My identity was an actor – and a really good one – and once you don’t have that identity you’re kind of lost in a tailspin — and I was in a big, ugly tailspin for a couple of years,” he said.

TMZ reported that McDonough went on to say he began drinking too much and slowly lost his identity before his wife, Ruve, helped him get back on track.
The actor released a new project titled “The Last Rodeo” in May, in which he engages in an on-screen kiss with another woman.
