BREAKING: Fani Willis Caught With ‘Ex-Lover’ On Police Body Cam, Crushes Her Own Narrative

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is again in the spotlight after new body cam footage connected her with Nathan Wade, the former prosecutor in her office who she dated before getting tangled up in allegations of nepotism that nearly killed her case against former President Donald Trump.

Wade, who left Willis’s office under judicial order earlier this year, has insisted his hiring took place before the two became romantically linked, and Willis has added that the two have since broke off their relationship. The latter statement may become harder to defend after body cam footage obtained by the Daily Mail shows the two prosecutors appearing at the arrest of Willis’s daughter Kinaya, 25, who was arrested earlier this week for driving with a suspended license. The two stay close by one another as they listen to a responding officer explain why the pregnant young woman was pulled over. Footage shows both arriving in a dark SUV to the location in Tyrone, Georgia. Willis introduced herself as “Fani” to the officer, as shown in his body cam footage.

The officer begins to inform Willis and Wade about the arrest as if they were both Kinaya’s parents, causing Wade to interject and explain that he is “just a friend” of the girl and her mother. An agitated cop tells the district attorney that her daughter wasn’t telling the officers “why or where” she was headed. “Probably some kind of speeding ticket or infraction and she never went to court,” he supposed, adding that Kinaya would be headed for the local county jail for booking, a process that is “normally a couple hours.”

Wade jumps in to ask why Kinaya was pulled over in the first place. “I don’t know if it was some kind of traffic infraction – it wasn’t me, I didn’t make the stop,” replied the officer, saying his responding colleague already left the scene with Kinaya. Willis asked about obtaining the keys to her daughter’s car to she could have someone take it home. A clip of the interaction ends with the officer saying that Kinaya would be able to call “you guys” in a couple hours and would likely face a $1,200 fine.

Since announcing charges in her election interference case against President Trump late last year, Willis has been the target of sharp criticism for politicizing a case that stood to benefit her in an election year. Trump allies immediately noted that she updated her political campaign website just days before charging Trump and denounced her for being the first Democratic prosecutor who required the former president to make a local appearance for a mugshot. The picture became an immediate symbol for the MAGA movement, emblazoned on t-shirts and social media posts as voters empathized with Trump’s accusations of politically motivated cases against him.

Defense lawyers seek to dismiss Willis’s case in light of a Supreme Court decision this summer granting sitting presidents sweeping immunity for official acts committed in office. Legal observers believe Trump may have a strong argument that racial animus is playing a part in Willis’s calculations. “I think Trump has a decent chance on getting this case thrown out,” CNN legal analyst Elie Honig predicted last week. He added it was specifically shrewd by defense lawyers to not target a “conflict of interest” between Willis and Nathan Wade, a former prosecutor in her office who was hired after they engaged in a romantic affair. “The focus here is on alleged prosecutorial misconduct by Fani Willis because, you’ll remember, she went in front of a church outside of court and made public statements blasting the defense lawyers, essentially accusing them of being racist. Donald Trump’s claim here is that tainted the jury pool.”
