Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna claims office received ‘very serious shooting threat’: ‘Hate against Republicans is going to get someone killed’

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) said Wednesday her office had received a “very serious shooting threat.”

“This division and hate campaign against Republicans is going to get someone killed,” the congresswoman, who represents Florida’s 13th District, said in a statement on X.

“I will not be threatened, intimidated, or bow down to those using violence as a means to push their agenda. We will win.”

Luna, a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump, didn’t elaborate on when the threat was made or offer any further details.

It comes just days after Trump survived a planned assassination attempt, officials have said — the second in months.

“I will continue to fight for the wonderful people who have elected me as well as those across the country that feel that they are being left behind,”  Luna vowed Wednesday.

“Please keep my family in your prayers. Hate has no place here.”

It comes just days after Luna claimed she had been doxxed and had threatening packages sent to her St. Petersburg, Fla. home after her former Democratic opponent labeled her a “threat to democracy.”

The congresswoman, who stopped short of naming her Democratic challenger, Whitney Fox, said her rival’s “irresponsible rhetoric” has led her to suffer an unhinged harassment campaign.

“When you label people a threat to democracy and attempt to dehumanize/lie about them, violence occurs,” Luna penned in the lengthy X post.

She accused Fox, a former Pinellas County transportation official who has centered her campaign on reproductive rights, allowed her Democratic supporters to use the comments section of her campaign’s social media pages to dox the lawmaker.

“The fact that this went on for weeks is not only abhorrent, but also it is shameful,” Luna said, adding that she’d contacted local law enforcement.
