Kamala Harris Asked About Plans to Lower Cost of Living – Responds with Word Salad

Vice President Kamala Harris was asked during a town hall meeting with Oprah Winfrey tonight about her plans to lower the cost of living for Americans suffering from out-of-control inflation.

Unsurprisingly, Harris had no answer and instead served an insufferable word salad.

Harris said:

“In terms of both rightly having the right to have aspirations and dreams and ambitions for your family and working hard and finding that the American Dream is, for this generation & so many recently, far more elusive than it’s been, and we need to deal with that.”

Yes, she really did say this.

The Vice President said that lowering everyday goods’ prices would help the cost of living.

Oh really Kamala? So, how do you plan to do that?

As expected, Harris gave a non-answer.

It’s no surprise that J.D. Vance compared giving Harris the task of lowering inflation to putting Jeffrey Epstein in charge of human trafficking policy.

“Giving Kamala Harris control over inflation policy, Shannon, it’s like giving Jeffrey Epstein control over human trafficking policy,” Vance said earlier this year.

“They don’t buy the idea that Kamala Harris represents a fresh start. She is more of the same. It is doubling down on the failed policies of the [current] administration.”

Harris previously promised to ban “price-gouging” in what appeared to be an attempt to deflect the blame for high prices onto companies.

She also promoted creating a $25,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers and increasing the child tax credit to $6,000.

However, economist James Roberts said Harris’ proposals would cause more problems and “keep new competition from moving in to take advantage of the bigger profit margins—competition that could have helped lower prices in the long run.”

As Vance noted, Harris “has been vice president for three and a half years,” and her failed policies have led to soaring food and housing costs.

Harris had her chance to fix the economy. She failed.
