‘Walking Dead’ Actress Kelley Mack Dead At 33

“The Walking Dead” actress Kelley Mack died Aug. 2 after battling illness.

Her death was announced by her family Tuesday in a statement shared by her sister on Instagram and an obituary.

“It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go,” they wrote.

“Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening with her loving mother Kristen and steadfast aunt Karen present. Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️. ”

Mack had suffered from glioma — a tumor that forms in the spinal cord or brain — before her death, TMZ reported

“She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express,” Mack’s sister wrote in the heartfelt message.

The post continued, “Kelley’s Caringbridge link in her bio includes the 2-page formal announcement with information on her upcoming life celebration in Ohio on August 16th.”

“She would want you all to know how much she loves you. And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I’m so fucking proud of her.”

Mack accumulated a total of 35 acting credits and five producing credits to her name over the course of her career.

Her biggest role was “Addy” in season 9 of “The Walking Dead.”

Some of her other notable television credits included “Chicago Med,” and “9-1-1.”

Mack also took part in commercial and voice-over work, according to People. She appeared in commercials for Dr. Pepper, Dairy Queen, Ross stores and Chick-fil-A, to name a few. (RELATED: ‘It Seems Weird’: Brooke Hogan Suspects Something’s Off With Hulk’s Death)

She is survived by parents Kristen and Lindsay Klebenow as well as her sister Kathryn and brother Parker. Mack also leaves behind grandparents Lois and Larry and Logan Lanier, her boyfriend.
